The Professional Women in Building Council (PWB) is a nationally recognized organization through NAHB with chapters across the country to support women. Our PWB is affiliated with Metropolitan Builders & Contractors Association of New Jersey (Metro). PWB is the voice of women in the building industry dedicated to promoting industry professionalism and supporting members at the local, state and national levels by offering networking and educational opportunities, legislative awareness and outreach, and professional and personal development.

The Sales & Marketing Council (SMC) welcomes builders, new-homes sales or marketing professionals, real estate agents, market researchers, interior designers, advertisers, sales consultants, architects and other professionals who all want to keep their businesses thriving.

Remodelers Council
National Council
The Remodelers Council develops and implements programs, services and networking opportunities for Metro's builders, remodelers and industry associate members. Programs include education, legislative and regulatory issues impacting developers.

Awards of Excellence Committee
The AOE committee is charged with running the Awards of Excellence gala. One of Metro's biggest event's of the year!
From the logistics to the script, this committee prepares, organizes and runs the Awards Show.

Golf Committee
The Golf Committee is charged with organizing and running our annual golf outing. Duties included chairing, securing sponsorships, golfer participation and handling all of tasks required to create a successful outing.

Metro's Welcome Committee! The membership committee welcomes all new members, assigns new member mentors, provides all new members with the proper tools to succeed in Metro.

The Metropolitan Builders and Contractors Association Workforce Development Committee is dedicated to educating and inspiring the next generation about careers in the residential construction industry. Through hands-on events such as Build My Future, participation in job fairs, and the development of targeted educational programs, we highlight the wide range of opportunities available within the skilled trades.
In addition, we are committed to supporting today’s workforce by creating programs and growth opportunities that help employers continue to develop, train, and retain their employees.
