At the Metropolitan Builders & Contractors Association of New Jersey (METRO), we’re committed to shaping the next generation of skilled professionals in the building and construction industry. Our Workforce Development initiatives are designed to inspire, educate, and connect students with meaningful career opportunities in the trades.
Scholarship Program
Each year, METRO awards scholarships to students pursuing careers in construction, real estate development, and related fields. These scholarships help support the educational goals of future builders, tradespeople, and industry leaders across New Jersey.
Build My Future Event
The Build My Future event offers students a hands-on opportunity to explore the skilled trades. Through interactive exhibits, live demonstrations, and real-world engagement with industry professionals, students gain valuable insights into the rewarding careers available in construction and the building trades.
Student Chapters & Career Fairs
METRO proudly supports student chapters and actively participates in career fairs throughout oure region. We partner with schools, vocational programs, and industry organizations to promote workforce education and provide pathways for young people to enter and thrive in the building industry.
